About Us
Safety
At Gumpher Electric, our Safety and Health Program is built around how work is actually performed in the field. It continues to align with the best practices of the construction and electrical industries and evolves as those standards change.
Health, safety, and well-being are at the heart of everything we do. Every member of our team — from apprentices to project managers — is expected to stay aware of their surroundings, communicate clearly, and look out for one another so everyone goes home safe. A safe working environment is the result of teamwork, vigilance, and respect, and that mindset carries into how every project is approached.
Equipment
Proper equipment is on site and used correctly, with clear communication before work begins so everyone understands the scope and conditions of the job. Safety policies are designed to meet local, state, and federal requirements, reviewed and updated regularly to reflect current standards, and communicated clearly so expectations are never in question.
- Routine safety inspections and risk assessments are conducted on each project to identify potential hazards early and keep work moving safely and efficiently.
- Training is ongoing for both employees and supervisors, covering field responsibilities and reinforcing safe practices across all roles.
- Hazards, near misses, and incidents are addressed directly, with a focus on understanding root causes and preventing the same issue from occurring again.
- Coordination with general contractors and other trades is maintained throughout every project to keep safety consistent across the job site.
